Why? Well... because
Toyota Hilux 6x6 camper on 44’s... I’m in love.
Edit: Forgot the link.. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! it’s in Icelandic, but there’s always google translate.

This makes American Brodozers look wimpy.

Not after you buy a tank of gas at 6.00 Euros a gallon

Very true, however I gotta think it’s fairly under-powered at this point not to mention super expensive. The want is still strong though.

Indeed, and in Iceland they actually have a use for cars like this.

You mean the guy who might maybe use a dishwasher someday maybe doesn’t
need
his truck?

Just 6? I pay almost 7 a gallon right now.

Well.. yeah :P
![]() 06/03/2015 at 12:18 |

That’s pretty wild. Those 44’s look huge, even for 44’s. The almost look overinflated, like they’d float or something.
![]() 06/03/2015 at 12:21 |

They are made to float on snow...

But the only way you could afford this is to be Norwegian

15x16 rim, inflated for road use. Can be run as low as 2 psi, the car’s got an onboard compressor so you can add more air when you’re done driving through deep snow.

Well.. yeah.. Problem solved then :P

But if you moved there you would be Icelandic
![]() 06/03/2015 at 12:25 |

Are you from Scotland?
If so, sorry, you should be used to the price of fuel and the lack of trees
![]() 06/03/2015 at 12:25 |

Nah, I’d just be me. Would not mind learning Icelandic though, but it’s not easy.

Norway. Plenty of trees here, and expensive petrol :)

It’s a little more, about US$6.50.

Yes, lots of þ and ð and horrendously long complicated words.
![]() 06/03/2015 at 13:12 |

I’ve got no problems with the long words actually.. nor the thorn or eth, the problem is that I THINK I understand, but it turns out I don’t. I can read Icelandic though, barely.. but talk Icelandic? Nooope..

That might be the most Icelandic thing I’ve ever seen. Its a Viking in vehicle form.

Mhm.. I want to move there NOW.. MX-5 as a DD and this one when the weather get’s bad.

Funny how they put tire shine on to take the shot of it off road.
![]() 06/03/2015 at 14:55 |

Yeah, I thought that was a bit off myself.. But hey, I still want it :P

That background doesn’t look bear rugged enough for Iceland. I suppose there’s a few spots like this, but - those aren’t trees on the hill beyond the lake, are they? And where are the roving sheep?
![]() 06/06/2015 at 11:16 |

Not sure if it IS on Iceland if I’m honest, but they do have trees there, but not many. And I guess the sheep were hiding.

They hide, because: LambDogs!
